The Lagunitas Brown Shugga is a  brew to fit the season.  I love the hoppiness of it, and the citrus and molasses components give it a freshness that puts it in perfect balance.  Thank you Lauren  for introducing me to this great beer.

After reading your post I was suddenly inspired to go out on a limb and try a new beer that I'd never had before. My friend and went to the store and found a bottle of Magnum malt liquor 24 oz. We had been drinking 40's of Country Club the previous three nights so we were very excited about sipping back on something new. We popped off the bottle cap and took a sniff. It had a typical skunky and sweet smell and it almost stung the nostrils. We poured it into our glasses and looked at the color and head of the beer. It had a darker color and a very thick and rich head. Finally we took our first sips. Man it was so delicious. Hints of dead skunk with the tartness of fresh cranberries. At a dollar twenty five you simply can't go wrong with this beer.
